- This New World Fossorial Dwarf species can be found in Cuba.
- As slings, they are Opportunistic Burrowers. Once they reach about 1.75", their behavior is more Terrestrial in behavior, and you will see them much more often.
- Adult size is 2.5" - 3", with rare instances of up to 3.5".
- They were previously known as Cyrtopholis cyaneus.
- The females are uniformly red up to the area of the cephalous and the legs. The cephalous is blue to violet. The legs, in particular, the fore-legs, are of the same color.
