- TCF = Typical Color Form. Named after the coloration of the type, different pale beige coloration, sometimes with a greenish sheen, long setae on legs and abdomen pale pink. They have black markings on their abdomens and a starburst pattern on the carapace.

- Adult size is 3.5" -4.5".
- Most are pretty defensive once they reach 2" or so. If a retreat is available, they'll usually go to it when threatened. However, they will attack if provoked enough and can't get away from a threat. HOWEVER - if you leave them alone, they are an easy species to own. They are PROLIFIC webbers. Therefore, give them a taller enclosure than normal, so that they don't use the lid as an anchor point for webbing. If they are allowed to attach the web to the lid, every time you open the container you'll destroy part of their "home", and they will freak out and run all over the place.
