- Formally known as  Phlogiellus sp. moniqueverdezae .  Newly described in 2016.
- This Old World Burrower is from Thailand.
- Chelicerae, carapace, and abdomen dorsally chocolate brown with slightly paler setation and mild violet hue; coxae and trochantera slightly paler; darker ventrally. Legs I–IV chocolate brown with mild violet hue.
- Fairly heavy webbers as adults.
