Females are kept communally with males and are probably gravid. If you do not want extras, order a male!
This species is variable in color! If you want red, yellow, orange, or black legs feel free to make a request! If it's available, we will make it happen!

- Also known as Slenderbrown Scorpion, Brown Bark Scorpion, Caribbean Dusky Scorpion, Dusky Scorpion (alacran prieto in Cuba), & Blue Scorpion (alacran azul in Cuba).
- WC adults from Florida. It is reported that Centruroides gracilis from Central America has a higher venom level.
- Adult size is 2.5" - 4.75".
- Not cannibalistic (as well as they are well fed), so can be kept communally.
- Florida Bark scorpions are polymorphic (different color variations), sometimes with individuals of different colors occurring in one population, or even one litter. It may be reddish, black with reddish chelae, dark brown with yellowish legs and red chelae, or dark brown with reddish and black tail sections.
