- Formally known as Tapinauchenius sp Colombia.
- This new world Arboreal is from the lowland rain forest of the Amazon region of the countries of Colombia and Peru. Ecuador as distribution is highly likely due to the occurrence very close to the border of Ecuador in Leticia, Columbia.
- Newly described in 2018 by Hüsser.
- I have read that the adult size is 5”.
