- Also known as the Giant Red Rump.
- This New World Opportunistic Burrower is from Panama.
- The adult size is 8" - 8.5".
- While they hail from a rain forest environment, they can do quite well with lower humidity, as long as a water dish is provided.
- They are very fast moving for a New World burrower, and have a very fast metabolism, so it can be difficult to "over-feed" them.
- They are often out on display and are actually good climbers.
