- It was formally known as Leiurus quinquestriatus hebraeus, but was elevated to species status in 2014.
- The adult size is 2.28" - 3.03".
- The base color is yellow to orange-brown, with variable fuscosity on carapace and tergites.
- The pectine count is ​♂ 33–37, ♀ 27–32.
