- Also called Sri Lankan Ornamental Black and White, Sri Lankan Ornamental Tree Spider.
- This Old World Arboreal is from central Sri Lanka.
- The adult size is around 7" - 7.5"
- They are defensive and fast. In our experience, they would rather hide when disturbed.
- They have a dark abdomen with a broad central cream band edged in black, plus five oblique marks. The carapace is grey with cream markings. The legs are banded black and white, with yellow on the underneath of the first two pairs, which is used as a warning signal to would be attackers.
