- This New World Terrestrial is from the  Caribbean to Brazil, especially Hispaniola.  In the wild, they are considered an obligate burrower.
- The Adult Size is 7" - 8".
- They are considered a "bold" tarantula, and they are fantastic eaters.  They are hardy and easy to care for.  They may offer a threat pose, but they would rather retreat and hide than attack.
