- Also known as the Florida Keys Giant Centipede.
- Centipedes are predatory arthropods, possessing a specialized pair of first appendages (forcipules) tipped with venom-injecting claws, immediately behind the mouth parts.
- I've read that they can grow up to 9 inches.
- These guys are "escape artists", so make sure that you have them in the correct container!  The container must be higher than the centipede can reach.
