- This New World scorpion is from the United States (Arizona and California) and Northern Mexico.
- The adult size is reported to be 3.5" - 4", but we think that is too high.
- There is a "pale" morph and a "dark" morph.
- We haven't been keeping these long enough to give a detailed report of their behavior, but I can say that they LOVE to climb, and are very good escape artists (for a scorpion), so keep them in a container with a tight lid.  They were very skittish during their photo session, IMMEDIATELY reacting to the flash but trying to run away.
