- The Desert Millipede can be found in the states of Texas, New Mexico and Arizona, as well as in Northern Mexico.
- The average size is 4", but they can be as small as 3" or as large as 6" in length.
- This species can live more than 10 years!
- This is a mellow slow-moving organism that enjoys feeding on decaying materials. It is mostly nocturnal; however, it can be spotted after rainy days in the early mornings.
